Description & Requirements

GANS South Africa is a growing international trading, sourcing and export company providing food products, hospitality supplies, medical products and industrial solutions to clients across different markets. The company coordinates suppliers, freight partners, customs service providers and delivery networks to provide dependable supply solutions.

The Logistics Manager will be responsible for planning and coordinating the movement of goods from suppliers through to clients. This includes domestic transport, international freight, export documentation, customs coordination, shipment tracking, delivery scheduling and the management of logistics service providers.

Working closely with procurement, suppliers, freight forwarders, transporters, clearing agents and clients, the Logistics Manager will ensure that each shipment is appropriately planned, documented and monitored. The role requires careful control of timelines, freight costs, cargo requirements and delivery commitments.

This position is suited to an experienced and commercially aware logistics professional who can manage multiple shipments, solve operational problems and maintain clear communication across the supply chain. The successful candidate must be comfortable working in a growing business where international requirements, transport conditions and delivery priorities can change quickly.
